

THE BAND
DANNY EAKIN
is from Booger Holler, Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains and is one of the original Homestead Pickers since 1993. At SDC since 1985 he became known as "The Travelin' Minstrel of the Ozarks" or "the man that barks like a coondog" because of his rendition of "Ole Blue". He is also known as an accomplished songwriter and storyteller. His love is to tell people about the Ozark way of life both truth and myth. Danny has raised many champion Bluetick Coonhounds. He plays mountain banjo, guitar, and harmonica with the band.

GREG BECKER
is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He has been performing at SDC since 1975 with many different acts and with many different instruments. He was a member of the infamous River Rats Dixieland Band as a drummer, bass player with the SDC favorite Horsecreek Band, a champion hammered dulcimer player, and the Pickers' bass anchor since 1996. Greg also plays guitar, harmonica, pennywhistle, autoharp, squeezebox, and many more. He is a long time collector of odd instruments and is the band keeper of old songs.

GREG BAILEY
has worked in the entertainment business for more than 45 years and has played with some of the biggest names in the country including Miss Loretta Lynn, Del Reeves, Ferlin Husky, and many more. He has recorded all the Pickers' Albums from his Stone County Recording Studio on his cattle farm in Spokane, Missouri. Greg is an expert in restoring and repairing instruments of all kinds. Bluegrass Music brought him to SDC in 1982 and then to the Pickers in 1996. He plays fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and dobro with the band.

JOHN WALTER "WALT" MORRISON
was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MIchigan and raised in Mascoutah, Illinois but now lives in Cassville, Missouri. Walt began his professional career at the age of 14 playing drums in the St. Louis area. He and his wife Becky spent three years traveling the world through the Department of Defense entertaining our troops abroad. In 1992 they got off the road and settled in the Branson area working shows. He became a Homestead Picker in 2013. Walt is an accomplished songwriter and is the strongest vocalist in the band.
